Movie Plot: The Movie is based on how an Indian medical scientist develop a vaccine to fight the covid 19 pandemic. How they overcome from difficult situation.

 

 

Story Line of  The Vaccine War: It is Inspired by the book “Going Viral” written by Prof. Balram Bhargawa, Director General of the Indian Council of Research (ICMR).  How ICMR Director general Dr. Bhargawa (Played by Nana Patekar) motivates his team of scientists to make the covaxine, led by National Institute of Virology head (Played by Pallavi Joshi). 

 

The movie opens with the scene of Lockdown. The entire road is silent during this time, but the police officers continue to do their jobs and are visible watching to make sure that no one is leaving their homes. The plot then begins on January 1, 2020, during the national New Year’s celebration, when ICMR Chief Balram Bhargava learns of a virus whose patient has been discovered in Wuhan, China. The nation’s struggle against an epidemic like Corona then starts from this point. The story of the lockdown, the creation of the vaccine, and the fabrications that circulated on social media have all been covered in the twelve chapters that make up the full movie. The challenges that the scientists experienced during this time were revealed. You will surely feel proud of them when you observe the zeal with which they work.

In addition, it is shown in the movie that during the period when the public was battling COVID and individuals were dying in their houses and fighting to find food, water, and even treatment, some people were posting numerous pages on social media. They were attempting to discredit the country and the administration by making posts. They claimed that India could not accomplish it.

Nana Patekar: Nana returns after 5 years on the big screen with a bang on performance and manages to make a long-lasting impact as Dr. Bhargawa. He is the guy who holds the full film by his dialogue delivery, and body language as a scientist. He lives every moment as Dr Bhargawa in the movie.

 

Pallavi Joshi: She plays the role of NIV’s director and takes the lead in the empowerment of women in the movie. By engaging in battle as a female soldier, she and her crew show the public the true struggles that women had on the battlefield and in the home during the epidemic.

 

Raima Sen: She plays the character of a Science journalist, Rohini Singh Dhulia. An actress dwelling into a negative role and a powerful journalist against the government of India with her cheap PR and is journalistic skills.

 

Direction: Vivek does good work in direction, keep tight the plot of the movie and will engage the audience till the end of the movie. It is based on scientific plot but you will not get bored from scientific words used in dialogue they are easily understandable.

 Final Thought: The movie is made with the good intention to give credit to all the scientists who work in situations for the country. All the characters in the film portray their roles close to reality, which will bring chills. It shows the spirit of changing India from “India can’t do it” to “India can do it”.
