FreeFireRelaunch

Garena, headquartered in Singapore, Introducing a specialized edition of the game exclusively for the Indian market.

As witnessed in the official relaunch of Battlegrounds Mobile India earlier this year, Free Fire is set to undergo its own relaunch with several notable features. Initially, the game will integrate Yotta’s India-based cloud hosting infrastructure.

The Legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni has taken on the role of the sport’s official ambassador as part of their outreach campaign. Additionally, Dhoni will appear in the game as “Thala,” a playable character. The excitement goes beyond this, though, as the match will also feature a roster of illustrious sportsmen, including Rahul Chaudhari, the Kabbadi Champion, Saina Nehwal, the Badminton Champion, and Leander Paes, the famed Tennis Legend.

The organization chosen by MeitY would be in charge of maintaining and safeguarding the personal information of Indian gamers. Yotta also intends to offer regional servers and network connectivity for countrywide future of Free Fire competitions. Additionally, Yotta has ambitious plans to offer domestic servers and network connectivity for upcoming Free Fire events held within the country.

The Free Fire India Championship (FFIC 2023) is scheduled for later this month.

While we haven’t received any official confirmation regarding the game’s platforms, it can be inferred that the game will likely be available on the Google Play Store and App Store. Furthermore, the government has not clarified whether the game’s release will be temporary, akin to Battlegrounds Mobile India. The collaboration between Yotta and Garena may offer some insights into the game’s special status. We are keen to witness the game’s development and its impact on the esports scene in the country.
